What do you do for Clever Girls?
I help put our clients’ visions into action by executing every detail in the campaign from start to finish. I strive to provide our clients with white-glove service so that our influencers creatively exceed their expectations through beautiful content, every campaign.
How long have you been with CG?
11 months—can’t believe it’s been almost a year already!
How did you get into your current position?
Previously, I spent a lot of my time managing social media efforts for an LGBT company in the city, then studied online marketing intensively—so when I found Clever Girls it seemed like the perfect mix of both worlds (and it is!)
If you didn’t already have your dream job, what would you want to be doing?
I’d like to take a page out of Hunter S. Thompson’s The Rum Diary and live on an island as a freelance journalist somewhere a bit more off the grid than San Francisco. Growing up listening to Jimmy Buffet, reading any book I could get my hands on, I’ve always dreamt of writing away on a beach somewhere…
Alma Mater: San Francisco State University
Favorite place to work?
Java Beach in San Francisco - it’s a little cafe across the street from the beach with an outside patio where all the older locals come to gossip. They even have live music; if you’re into The Eagles, this is your place.
Favorite social channel and/or influencers?
I love Instagram—but as of late, I’m OBSESSED with comedian Chris D’elia’s Snapchat. The funniest impressions I’ve ever seen, and honestly a great marketing tool on his end. I watch it every day, and check his tour dates weekly because of it. Check em’ out.
Favorite Food:Anything spicy - Mexican food, Thai, wings - I love it all. I add Sriracha to everything (I blame living in San Francisco).
What are your hobbies?
When it’s not unreasonably cold, I surf. All other times, you can catch me at a park in the city with my favorite golden doodle or at a concert. Oh, and as much as I’d like to say brunch isn’t my hobby, it totally is. Brunch is, 9 times out of 10, my favorite part of the weekend (SF has great chicken & waffles).
Any other fun facts?
Favorite karaoke songs: The Notorious BIG, Juicy or Hypnotize – bet you wouldn’t expect that ;)
